Che boludos y boludas!
This is me trying to write this blog in English too... so please don't laugh ;)
As I didn't write anything in English till now, I will try to make it a bit shorter as i did in the German version. Those who feel interested are free to copy-past my German brain farts into babel fish.. but that whay, I haven't the faintest idea how it will turn out.
I arrived at the beginning of august in Buenos Aires, equipped with two huge bags and poor Spanish.
The plan is to study @ the universidad de buenos aires for on cuadrimestre, travel for 2-3 month trough latin america and do some interhships here or then in washington d.c. ...but only god knows where that is all going to lead.
the first weeks i spent in a hostel with my grazy dutch friend jorish (so that he did not need to stay only with him shelf ;-) ), with catarina, who was goig to do an internship here for a couple of month and steffi, a friend from bamberg, who was about doing similar thinks down here.
after some funny tipical drunk hostel night steffi found us some more adequcate decent accommodation to live for a year here and we moved into some kind of appartment house in palermo, the "soho of buenos aires".
school started after a couple of weeks of acclimatisation.
lots of people here said that companies tend to prefer graduates from the uba, and are not going for the graduates from the private, better equipped schools, simply because uba graduates are much better in solving organisational problems: i soon figured out why: cause their is not much organisation at all :).
but after feeling ok with that and accepting some differences we got along wit hour new school pretty good: and i guess that happened especially because the students and the professors did know how this might be for newcomers and where kind and helpfully.
